How It Started
A Dream, Finally Open
Ever since falling in love with the idea of being a barber, Austin dreamed of opening his own shop.
With almost a decade of serving the Winston-Salem community with fresh cuts, Austin Inman finally made that dream a reality. Black Oak Barbershop is the result — a room that pairs the vintage charm of the Historic West End with a grunge-inspired edge.
It’s a space where style meets attitude, where the classics still matter, and where every client gets the time and attention the craft deserves. We can’t wait for you to take the first steps of this new journey with us.
